From the business village it is only a short drive to Wingrave, which has a general store and post office, including bakery, dry cleaners and off-licence.

The local garage sells petrol and diesel and carries out MOT’s, and can provide a courtesy car when necessary.

Restaurants and Pubs

The village pubs of Wingrave and Ledburn are both 5 minutes away, and serve lunch time and evening meals. The Stag in Mentmore serves Italian food and is only a 5 minute drive, and the famous Kings Head in Ivinghoe is only 15 minutes away.

A sandwich and hot food van comes to the business village at lunch time everyday, and a fish and chip van also comes on Friday.

Mentmore Golf Club

Mentmore Golf and Country Club has 36 Holes and is only 5 minutes down the road.

We have a Bed & Breakfast on-site, and there are also several available in surrounding villages. The conversion of Mentmore Towers to a top class Hotel is imminent.
